Oh, Yeah…That One!

Rudy Giuliani made a statement that has set off a real firestorm in the media. On ABC’s Good Morning America, he criticized President Obama by stating that our nation “had no domestic attacks” under President George W. Bush and “We’ve had one under Obama.” That of course, is not true – the attack on the World Trade Center and Pentagon occurred on September 11, 2001 when Bush was in office. Of all people, those events should come to mind immediately for Giuliani since he was the mayor of New York City at the time and his handling of the situation brought him to international prominence. In a later interview with CNN’s Wolf Blitzer, he clarified his statement saying, “I did omit the words ’since Sept. 11.’ I apologize for that”
About Obama, Giuliani was quick to criticize
Saying with Bush there were no domestic terror tries
Though we all recall a September day
There was an attack in the USA
For Rudy to forget THIS, comes as a big surprise
