Hello Daily Limerick readers. Unfortunately the flu has arrived and your favorite poets have spent the better part of the past 48 hours fast asleep. So, we thought we’d pull a timely limerick from our vaults. This one titled “Fighting the Flu“ appeared on May 3rd, enjoy!
Fearing further expansion of the Swine Flu (H1N1 Flu) President Barack Obama asked Congress last week for $1.5 billion to help combat the outbreak. And its world-wide appearance is extending
Obama gave the green light
To funds helping the fight
Is this considered government pork spending?
