On the Twelfth Day of Christmas, a U.S. Marshal Brought to Me
December 22, 2009
Earlier this month the Florida Department of Law Enforcement launched the “12 Days of Fugitives.” This campaign was designed to generate tips to the whereabouts of a dozen of the oldest and most violent prison escapees. One fugitive per day is profiled and tipsters are encouraged to call 1-877-FLA-WANTED. On Monday, December 21, 2009 it was announced that Oscar Eugene Richardson, the longest escapee, was living under the alias Eugene Ward and was captured by U.S. Marshals.

To capture a dozen men, each a prison escapee
Their location is anyone’s guess
But now the program’s a success
Because Oscar Richardson is no longer among the free
