Gangsta rapper Tupac Shakur has written songs about killing police, lived by the philosophy of the “Thug Life,” was sentenced to 18 months in prison for sexual abuse, was convicted of assaulting Hollywood director Allen Hughes, and he spurred the East Coast-West Coast Rap Rivalry. Now he can add one more thing to his resume – he is just one of nine artists on Pope Benedict XVI’s MySpace Playlist. The playlist also contains artists Nour Eddine, Mozart, Muse, and Fleet Foxes and a description on the page states, “This playlist is a perfect mix of classical, world and contemporary music.” The Shakur song chosen is Changes which is said to be a song about self-improvement but you can read the lyrics here and decide for yourself. click here for limerick
