Gobble Gobble!

November 26, 2009

Suspected bank robber John Ford of Cleveland, Ohio gave new meaning to the term “eating his words” when he was arrested recently.   When police caught him he was driving a car matching witnesses descriptions, he had a sack of money with exploded die on it, and a white piece of paper in his pocket.  It is assumed that the paper was the note he used demanding the money.  However we may never know because while he was handcuffed and placed on the hood of the police car the police searched him and emptied his pockets. When they put the paper down, the dashboard camera saw him (but the police did not) use his mouth to pick it up and gobble down the evidence!

An alleged robber thought he might be released
If the evidence on him was suddenly decreased
He gulped down his throat
The assumed hold-up note
The bank is just thankful they did not get fleeced
