Up, Up and Away

A proposal in Burton, Ohio certainly did not go as planned. James Ng took his girlfriend, Sonya Bostic, on hot air balloon ride over some stunning fall foliage. He hid the ring in his camera bag but at 500 feet, and over a thick patch of woods, he dropped the bag. He could do nothing as he watched the bag hit a tree, burst open, and the contents disperse. By his reaction alone, Sonya knew what was just lost and he opted to propose without the ring. (She said yes.) When back on the ground, James made maps, charted possible paths the balloon took, and spent 7 days and countless hours walking through the woods. When he finally found the bag it had but one item left in it. . .the ring.
After dropping an engagement ring a man was astounded
But to make the proposal happen, he quickly rebounded
The ring dropped 500 hundred feet
Finding it made the moment complete
Let’s hope on their wedding day he’ll be much more grounded
