A misunderstood email caused quite a stir in Canada recently.  At a dinner honoring the Canadian military, 1,700 guests heard that Lady Thatcher had passed away.  Saddened by the news and wanting to prepare the appropriate statements, Dimitri Soudas, aide to the Canadian Prime Minister, placed calls to Buckingham Palace to gather appropriate details.  British representatives were surprised by the calls and assured Soudas that Margaret Thatcher, the 84-year-old former British Prime Minister, was very much alive.  The Canadian Transport Minister had named his 16-year-old cat Thatcher in honor of Mrs. Thatcher, and it was the feline that had recently passed. click here for limerick
