LOL—WTF changes to TFW

Thirty years ago the Wisconsin Tourism Federation was formed as a lobbying organization actively involved in Wisconsin’s tourism industry.  And it has happily existed all these years using the acronym WTF.  All that changed this past July when leaders learned the meaning of “WTF” in the texting world.  The organization now goes by TFW, the Tourism Federation of Wisconsin.


The Wisconsin Tourism Federation found itself stuck
With a really bad acronym that was a lame duck
Two words were flipped
When leaders were tipped
In our texting world, WTF means “What The F***?”
