Un-Quaid Hotel Bills
September 29, 2009
Actor Randy Quaid and his wife Evi could find themselves in some very big trouble very soon. On Thursday, September, 24, 2009, they were arrested for burglary, defrauding and inn keeper, and conspiracy. All of this stemmed from a recent stay at the San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara, CA where they ran up, and ran out on, a tab exceeding $10,000. They were arrested in Marfa, TX and released after each posted $20,000 bail. Celebrity website TMZ reports that this is part of a pattern. Reportedly, the couple walked out on a bill of $17,000 owed to the Hotel Bel-Air in Beverly Hills, CA and an undisclosed amount at the Santa Barbara Biltmore. Quaid has worked steadily as a character actor on television and in films since 1971 but is probably most famous for his role of Cousin Eddie in the National Lampoon’s Vacation series.

Ducking out on a hotel bill where they stayed
Celebrities aren’t immune
Thus this “National Lampoon”
Randy, next time make sure the hotel gets paid!
