Saturday Night Slip

On September 26, Saturday Night Live (SNL) opened its 35th season with host Megan Fox and musical guest U2. Many critics saw this as an opportunity for Fox, star of the Michael Bay’s Transformers series, to show real acting skills and validate her career. However, the airing gave her very little material to work with and the entire show was a disappointment. East Coast viewers were privy to a major slip of the tongue by new cast member Jenny Slate in a skit entitled “Biker Chick Chat”. The hook to this performance was that every sentence she spoke contained multiple uses of the word “frickin’”. However, she goofed and used the F-word and by the look on her face, she clearly knew it. West Coast viewers saw a slightly edited version of the skit. click here for limerick
