Swiss Chocolate Isn’t The Only Thing That Melts Away
August 28, 2009
In a very rare event, the country of Switzerland has grown larger. In 1942 Switzerland and Italy used the watershed in the high alps to determine borders. However, in this climate of global warming, the glaciers melted, causing the watershed to move, and revealing additional land belonging to the Swiss. The discovery was made by the Swiss Federal Office of Topography and the decision to adjust the boarder was approved by Italian officials. The total amount of land gain was 164 yards so there is no plan to change the atlas! click here for limerick
