He Thought It Was a Surfing Safari

Topsail Beach is a favorite place for North Carolina residents to spend time at the beach.  This past week they had a bit of a surprise when an alligator was spotted bodysurfing in the waves.  Town officials roped off the area and the alligator was later captured.  


When it’s hot people flock to the beach for relief
In Topsail visitors were full of disbelief
A gator floating in the ocean
Using a bodysurfing motion
Though this guy’s summer vacation was pretty brief
