Since 1936, the Oscar Meyer Wienermobile has been zipping around our country visiting schools, orphanages, children’s hospitals, and various parades. 1969 marked the first time the Wienermobile made a foray overseas. Its horn plays the famous jingle in 21 different ways including Cajun and Rap. Recently, in Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin, the driver of the vehicle (known as a “hotdogger”) was trying to turn the big dog around. She thought she was in reverse, but she was in drive and when she hit the gas, she ran into a house and cracked its foundation. No one was home and no one was hurt and Oscar Meyer states that damage would be covered by insurance. click here for limerick
