Egg On Their Face

In Colfax, Washington four men aged 20 to 21 decided to protest the use of fossil fuels by throwing eggs at cars at a local dealership.  When police found their note justifying their actions, they also found a major clue.  The note was written on the back of their grocery receipt.  After reviewing the stores video surveillance, the four were quickly arrested and admitted their guilt. They will pay for the cost of cleanup and write letters of apology to the dealership, but they may also face charges of trespassing and malicious mischief. 


Four dumb vandals quickly made a retreat
After they egged a car dealership’s fleet
To oppose fossil fuel
But they were the fool
As they wrote the note on their grocery receipt
