Biden Gets Grounded

On NBC’s Today show, Vice President Joe Biden stated that, due to the Swine Flu, he would avoid all confined spaces such as airplanes and subway cars. To clarify his stance, he stated, “It’s not that it’s going to Mexico. It’s [that] you’re in a confined aircraft. When one person sneezes, it goes all the way through the aircraft.” Since this is quite a different stance than the World Health Organization (WHO) and Centers for Disease Control (CDC) have stated, a White House spokesperson was quick to issue an apology. Since Biden joined the Obama ticket, he has made several off-the-cuff remarks for which he quickly apologized or clarified. click here for limerick
