Hope They Don’t Mix Up the Scripture Readings!

In Thornton, Colorado, Larry and Andrea Tabler, celebrated the grand opening of their Highline Circle of Life Center on Sunday, March 29, 2009. Larry has been in the funeral-home business for 42 years and has seen a declining number of traditional burials for an increase in less expensive cremations. This prompted him to try something new – holding wedding ceremonies in the same venue as the funerals. Steffani Blackstock, Executive Director of the Colorado Funeral Directors Association, put it this way , “You use flowers for both; you use ministers for both; and it’s the one time everyone comes together.”
They say the Circle of Life is what it’s all about
But some will find it strange – there is no doubt
Having just one location
For marriage and cremation
It seems the funeral business is really dying out
