OMG—A Tech-Free Lent?

As part of their faith, some Christians abstain from an item or habit of their choice during the 5 weeks of the Lenten Season (the period of time between Ash Wednesday and Easter). This year Italian bishops are suggesting followers take a “high-tech fast” for Lent. Recommendations include enjoying the silence rather than listening to an iPod, refraining from using the internet and not sending text messages.
