Goodbye Gossip Girl

Gossip columnist Liz Smith was released from her contract by the New York Post. Citing her $125,000 annual salary, the Post stated economic reasons for letting Smith go. This will be the first time in 33 years that Smith will not have a column in a New York City publication. While her syndicated column will continue to appear in other publications, her final Post contribution appears today. click here for limerick
