Republicans Prove That “Country First” Was Just an Election Slogan

President Obama has stated the need for bipartisanship to heal the country’s economic problems. Since taking office, he has faced several challenges to achieving this goal. Republican Senators were unsupportive of the stimulus plan passed by the House. Also, Commerce Nominee Judd Gregg abruptly withdrew his name from consideration on Thursday, February 12, 2009 citing “irresolvable conflicts” with the Obama administration.
Obama wants to gain bipartisanship
But Republican shoulders have a big chip
They stalled the stimulus plan
Nominee Gregg just up and ran
Focus on the country guys, stop the ego trip!
