On February 12, 2009, USA Today reported that in tough economic times, couples choose to find entertainment within the home rather than spend money on an evening out. As a result, condom sales increased 5% in the fourth quarter of 2008 and 6% in the month of January compared to those times last year.
Ever since this recession first began
We’re saving as much as we possibly can
And to our immense surprise
Condom sales are on the rise
Now that’s what I call a stimulus plan!
