While on stage, Etta James insulted President Obama and threatened Beyonce Knowles because she was upset that Beyonce sang James’ signature song, At Last, for the Obama’s first dance at the Inauguration Ball. Caught on tape, James ranted, “Your President, the one with the big ears … he had that woman singing my song. She gone get her ass whipped.”
It’s a diva smackdown but we won’t name names
“She gone get her ass whipped” one of them exclaims
One is known for her class
The other sang At Last
