Bruce Springsteen established a deal making Wal-Mart the exclusive retailer of a greatest hits CD, released in January 2009. Springsteen then came under fire from fans because the focus of his music is on worker’s rights. Wal-Mart has made headlines due to its poor labor practices. Springsteen later admitted the Wal-Mart deal was “a mistake.”
