As American Idol prepares for its eighth season, producers announced the addition of a fourth judge. Grammy-Nominated songwriter Kara DioGuardi will take a seat at the judges table alongside Paula, Randy, and Simon. DioGuardi is a sought-after songwriter and producer whose creations have appeared on more than 100 million records.
Season Eight American Idol has a new judge
Through thousands of auditions she must trudge
She oozes with talent
To the contestants she’s gallant
But many singing rejects still hold a grudge
